Living apart from loved ones in need of care can be challenging

Are you in need of quality, responsible, and monitored care? It might be for your elderly parents, a member of your family, or anyone else whom you are responsible for, but for various reasons you are not available to offer the needed care. Well, stop worrying and look no further. We can help.

We strongly believe that every individual faces different challenges while battling a disease or any disability and we are confident that we can make your experience better by providing you with consistent, trustworthy and individual support.

Simon Jessop, the founder of Age Care Advice, opened our doors in 2011 with the aim to provide first hand insight to the problems experienced by older people, adults and their families while trying to organise for care services.

We are registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council, the British Association of Independent Social Workers and the Information Commissioners’ Office, and since we opened our doors, we have had successful contracts with NHS, charities, and local authorities.

At Age Care Advice, we seek to provide our invaluable services to all in need, and when you call us you can rest assured of the best services. If you call us, and the services you seek are not on our list, we don’t just turn you away; instead, we try our best to point you in the right direction so you can get the help you need. No matter what your problem is, you can always count on our professional and efficient team to help. We seek to improve your experience no matter how hard your situation is. Try us – you can call or email.

Initial Assessment
When you call us seeking help for your loved one, we start by conducting an inclusive background check of their health and care requirements, which helps us identify their immediate needs. If necessary, we seek your permission to contact their general practitioner for more details regarding their health need for care.

Once we have the full details, we have a sit down with you to discuss and create your preferred care plan, one that would work best in the care of your loved one. We will then go ahead and assign your loved one a local Care Coordinator who will research and source local care service options for them.

Ongoing Support
Allow us to guide you through your time of need and our team of professional Care Coordinators will give you or your loved one invaluable support and services that provide the most value for your money. In the event that you live far away from your loved one who needs our help, you can forget all your troubles and leave it to us. We offer speed and efficiency in our services and we can assure you that your loved one will be fully assessed within 48 hours of your call. You don’t have to worry about being on a waiting list, our services are almost immediate.

At Age Care Advice team, we pride ourselves in efficiency, which is why we allocate one local Care Coordinator to each person. You don’t have to worry about your loved one being in the hands of a different care giver each time; they can work together with the allocated local Care Coordinator as long as needed. We find this efficient because then your loved one will develop a relationship with their assigned care coordinator, which is essential for improving the quality of care to ensure the best possible quality of life for them. In case of emergencies such as hospital admissions, the assigned local Care Coordinator can act as the bridge between your loved one and the hospital to enhance better and effective communication to ensure that your loved one receives the best care possible support and that all their needs are met.

84 hours a week support
Our local Care Coordinators work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  You, the neighbour, the GP, the carers etc have access to the Coordinator all of these hours however the role is about action, getting things done rather than waiting for a crisis.

We have many clients just like you and they find our services invaluable since they live far apart from their loved ones and are not in a position to offer them the attention needed. They have peace of mind with our experienced Care Coordinator who is well acquainted with their relative and their needs, taking care of them. We will even oversee practical problems such as the heating has broken down, the garden is overgrown, the cat is unwell……whatever happens in life, meaning you don’t have to drop everything to sort it yourselves.

Our services are tailored to your needs, we will build the best local support around your loved one, monitor this support and make changes should the situation change.
