A FAMILY EXTENSION

Founded in 2011 by Simon Jessop, a qualified Social Worker with over 40 years of experience, we are a group of dedicated, Care Coordinators and Companions who specialise in support of self funders.

We become an extension of your family helping in areas like GP and hospital appointments, respite care, day to day companionship and advice and guidance with important documents.

We are available seven days a week, twelve hours per day.

Our original founder in 2011 was Simon Jessop a qualified Social Worker who accumulated over 40 years of health and social care experience in the UK and America. Simon had consistent feedback from customers, patients and their families about how the care system could improve and offer them more. Simon simply put these recommended services together to deliver the best support and secure a strong loyal customer base which we have today.

I am the CEO of Age Care Advice and have 30 plus years’ experience in Health and Social Care. I have been working with Age Care Advice since 2018.

My Auntie who had dementia lived with me for seven years, so I know first-hand what it’s like to be a carer. I am also a registered Carer for children with additional needs on behalf of the Cambridgeshire local authority.

I love everything about what we do at Age Care Advice and for me seeing the difference we make to people’s life’s is absolutely everything.

I’m Rachel, Registered Manager at Age Care Advice. I have 14 years’ experience in the care industry with 10 years at management level providing the safe delivery of quality care as a Registered Manager before this appointment. I am committed to fostering the organic growth of the business and its people at Age Care Advice at the highest standard possible over the coming years.

I’m Jo, Clinical lead with Age Care Advice. I qualified as a nurse in 2020 after studying at De Montford University. I have a number of roles within ACA, I lead the care team, ensuring care plans are completed and risk assessments are in place. I carry out Capacity assessments, Continuing Healthcare Checklists and can act as Certificate Provider for Lasting Power of Attorney.

We will offer you continued support and guidance throughout the entire care process. We will get to know you and your family and work closely and consistently to achieve the best quality of life for your loved one.
