When you or someone in your life needs care services, it is difficult to know where to start, due to the range of needs and the lack of information available and trying to navigate the care systems can seem impossible.

Working For You

Care services all across the UK have been cut in recent years, due to various reductions in funding, which makes it difficult for those in need to get the support they require at the time they need it most.

It can feel like you have nowhere to turn for help, which causes unnecessary stress and confusion at the time you need the most clarity.

We can help you overcome the problems you face in your time of need. Contact us today for a free, no-obligation, phone conversation to assess your requirements. We are available seven days per week, twelve hours per day.

About Us

Age Care Advice was founded in 2011 by Simon Jessop DIPSW. Simon is a Senior Social Worker with experience going back to 1980 within local authority social care and NHS teams in both the UK and the USA. This experience has given him a first hand insight into the problems that older people/adults and their families have when trying to organise care themselves, via County Council social service departments or the NHS.

Since 2011, Age Care Advice has had successful contracts with the NHS, local authorities and charities.

We are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and members of the British Association of Independent Social Workers and the Information Commissioners’ Office (data protection)

How Does It Work?

We begin by having a free initial phone call to see how we can help you. Even if our services do not cover your requirements, we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

We carry out a comprehensive initial assessment, which will identify your care needs at that particular time. We may, with your permission, need to talk to other professionals such as your GP or District Nurse to gather further information.

After your assessment has taken place and your agreed care plan is created, your local Care Coordinator will research and source local care service options for you. We will advise on the best available options for you that provide you the most value for money.

Let Us Be Your Guide

“The support that our clients receive from the team at Age Care Advice is invaluable. Simon Jessop is clearly passionate about what he does and this is reflected in the caring way he looks after our clients. At all times, but especially in times of crisis, Simon is utterly reliable. The involvement of Simon and his team has enabled some clients the independence and quality of life that might otherwise have been deprived from them.”

We will be the advocate you need to get you, or your loved one, the care they need. We pride ourselves on speed of service and guarantee you’ll be assessed within 48 hours. Having such fast access will give you the peace of mind that you’re searching for. We will never have a waiting list.

You will be assigned one local Care Coordinator and that same person will work with you throughout the entire process. Over time, your local Care Coordinator will get to know you and your family or representative and work closely to achieve the best quality of life for you.

If there are any issues with your care service or if you are admitted to hospital, your local Care Coordinator will intervene when required, removing the worries of communication breakdowns between medical departments and ensuring that all of your needs are served.

We will take you from a feeling of uncertainty and doubt, to a situation where you know your care services are being looked after properly and that your best interests are always at the top of the list of considerations.
